
Bio and Credentials
Dr. Jonathan Knipping, PT, DPT, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Grinnell College in 1999 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. Jonathan’s therapy practice combines skilled hands-on manual techniques with expert listening, creative problem-solving and teaching skills. His treatment philosophy is based on one-on-one personalized care that is informed not only by current standards in evidence-based practice, but also by his extensive training and teaching experience in mindful exercise systems. Jonathan earned his Yoga Siromani (Yoga Teacher) certification from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in 2006, his Level 3 Teacher Certification in the T’ai Chi FundamentalsTM program in 2012, and his Fourth Degree Black Belt in Aikido from Aikikai Hombu Dojo, Tokyo, Japan in 2015.
